Crystal Germanetti, AMFT

Hi, I’m Crystal! I am a registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist in Santa Barbara, California. I’ve grown up on the Central Coast of California and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Applied Psychology, and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Santa Barbara. Some of my hobbies include drawing, painting, dancing, and spending time in nature (especially at the beach).

We all find ourselves on a difficult path at some point, but that path doesn’t have to be walked alone. I believe feelings of dissatisfaction, confusion, anger, sadness, worry, etc. stem from deeper layers of pain and suffering. When we peel back and examine these layers, gather a better understanding of ourselves and the world around us, nurture self-compassion, & integrate practical coping skills that's when the real magic happens and we start to shine our brightest. I am here to work with you as a collaborative partner on your healing journey.

I work from a supportive, transpersonal lens to help you nurture and foster a more loving relationship with yourself which also radiates out to others. I focus on providing a person-centered, somatic-based approach to individuals and couples who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction recovery, codependency, spirituality, and more.

I strive to create a non-judgmental, caring, and co-regulated space to help you feel safe to explore how you show up for yourself and in relation to others. Identifying a need for help and reaching out can be scary and overwhelming. Congratulations on moving towards wellness! Reach out for a free consultation to see if we would be a good fit.

I am clinically supervised by Jill Frandsen, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist #91194.

Rebecca Ponzio, APCC

I grew up in Ojai Valley, Southern California, where I was raised within a diverse family dynamic encompassing biological, step, and adopted siblings. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the profound toll that mental health challenges, entanglement with the criminal justice system, and recovery can affect individuals and their loved ones. Currently, as a devoted single mother to two young sons, one of whom has special needs and requires special academic attention through an Individualized Education Program (IEP), my paramount aim is to embody resilience as a role model.

These deeply personal experiences ignited a desire within me to effect positive change, prompting my educational journey in criminal justice and clinical mental health counseling. My mission is to serve as a catalyst for transformation and support for individuals coping with similar difficulties. Drawing from my own journey navigating challenges with a special needs child, I aspire to extend empathy and guidance to others traversing similar paths.

In my professional capacity, I have had the privilege of closely engaging with diverse populations, including incarcerated individuals, individuals in treatment facilities and halfway houses, veterans, and those experiencing homelessness. I remain steadfast in my commitment to facilitating their reintegration into society, leveraging my multifaceted background in criminal justice and mental health counseling to empower individuals to surmount adversity and forge fulfilling lives.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I enjoy cooking, value moments spent with friends and family, and prioritizing my physical and mental well-being by going to the gym and being outside. During my downtime, I enjoy reading psychological thrillers, self-help literature, and listening to comedy and podcasts.
